As-salamu ‘alaykum warahmatullaahi wabarakatuh,
Yusuf Ibn Al-Husayn (rahimahullaah) said:
بالادب تفهم العلم، وبالعلم يصح لك العمل، وبالعمل تنال الحكمة, وبالحكمة تفهم الزهد، وتوفق له، وبالزهد تترك الدنيا، وبترك الدنيا ترغب في الاخرة، وبالر غبة في الخرة تنال رضى الله عز و جل.
“With good manners, you will understand knowledge. With knowledge, you will correct your actions. With actions, you will attain wisdom. With wisdom, you will comprehend zuhd (renouncing of the worldly life) and be granted it. With zuhd, you will abandon the worldly life. With abandonment of the worldly life, you will long for the hereafter. And with longing of the hereafter, you will achieve Allaah’s contentment.”

Subhanallah! That is such a beautiful reminder, we always look at good mannerism as being something unimportant but proves otherwise. If only people would realise the importantance of good akhlaq esp our youths! may Allah guide us all, ameen.

Muslimah-Well noted Subhanallaah, we do take akhlaaq for granted and it is a challenge trying to get rid of those bad traits we have learnt over the years. May Allaah make us amongst the saliheen, Aameen.

Good mannerisms can be attained from being in the company of the pious. Our bad manners are the result of being in the company of bad people.
I ask Allah to protect us all from bad company and bless us with the company of the pious. Ameen
